POST Is Merging With Photographer’s Edit

Merger? What Merger?
Oh, you haven’t heard? POST’s owner, Jerry Weiner, has decided to inch towards retirement this year. He’ll be around for a while to come but is making preparations so POST’s employees and clients can carry on. Who is POST merging with?
We’ve made friends with another leading post-processing company called Photographer’s Edit (PE). Their specialty is classic wedding processing, and they’ve got a great team. There’s actually a third company involved in the merger as well: ProImage Editors. The three of us are combining under the Photographer’s Edit name to form one awesome post-processing solution for professional photographers.

How do I log in to PE?
Starting May 13, simply visit www.photographersedit.com and log in with the same credentials you used for the POST site.

How do I order from PE?
Visit photographersedit.com/services and choose the service you want. Fill out the order form and checkout (PE asks that you pay for orders up front).

Will I have my same POST editor? Who’s editing my images now?
We have been working with the Photographer’s Edit production team for the last few months, and we’ve received rave reviews of their work. As with POST, we do try to pair our clients with the same PE editor each time.

Can I talk with my editor?
Our editors cannot be reached directly, but the PE support staff is very experienced with editing. They can answer your questions or get answers for you.

How do prices compare?
Because of built-in efficiencies, PE prices are lower across the board while maintaining the highest level of quality. Color-correction starts at $0.23 per image, Retouching is $1 per minute, and album design is only $4 per side. Nice!

What happened to Artistic Styling and Blog Images?
These services have been discontinued due to their overly subjective nature and the fact that they weren’t very popular. If you do need a special service that is not on the PE menu, you can always request it via the Custom Retouching service.

What happens to my old POST account?
All your customer data has been migrated to the PE system. Your order history will be migrated as well. Eventually, the POST system will be shut down, but for now it is still available for access to current and past orders.

How do I upload images to PE?
PE offers a great web-based uploader (yes, better than the POST uploader!). After placing an order, you will be given the option to use the uploader.

What is PE’s turnaround time?
Standard turnaround is 5 business days, though it’s usually much faster. As always, turnaround depends on the size and complexity of the job as well as the season.

Can I still order prints?
Yes, you can continue to use ROES to order prints. Nothing is changing with the lab.
