Web Downloader Troubleshooting for Windows Users

The following troubleshooting tips should help if you experience difficulties with transferring files via the web downloader. (Mac users, click here for web downloader troubleshooting.)

Issue: I do not see the web downloader.

Solution: Ensure you have Java installed. To do so, click here and click Verify Java Version. If the test is successful, refresh the web uploader page and try once more. If the test fails, you need to install Java. Follow the directions at Java.com to download and install Java. Then, restart the web browser and try the web uploader once more.


Issue: I receive scary looking warning messages asking if I want to run the program.

Solution: Java is taking security very seriously these days, hence the bold warnings. While there are always potential security threats in any software, we are confident that the web downloader is safe. You can click through the warning messages without concern.


Issue: I lost the link to download my files. How do I find them?

Solution: Log in to the POST website and click View My Orders. Next to the order in question, click Download Images.

If you continue to have difficulties, please contact us for assistance or try downloading via FTP instead.
