Edit with Wacom

Post Production Pro Tips - Weekly editing advice and workflow suggestions from the post-production pros.
Edit with Wacom

Computer mice are not the best tools for post-production work. They’re slow and clunky when trying to line up the cursor with tiny Lightroom slider handles. Mice are also quite useless when it comes to anything that requires a drawing motion.

Instead of mice, Post editors use Wacom tablets. These devices are a totally different way of interfacing with a computer.

Once you get used to moving around your screen with a stylus, it’s much more efficient than a mouse. You find yourself easily grabbing sliders and manipulating photos faster than ever before.

If you do a lot of photo work yourself, you may want to give Wacom a try.

Quick-Tip: There are only a few days left to save on Post album design. Submit a job now! Fortune Cookie: “He who enjoys doing and enjoys what he has done is happy.”
